American Horror Story FAN......."attic"

American Horror Story reminds me of an anthology of dreams, a collection of visions we have all had that have scared us or made us believe in some kind of eidolon.  If you have ever lived in a home that you believed was haunted you could relate to this show.  You could especially fathom this show if you have ever been afraid of your attic or basement.  Overall, if you are into any genres of horror movies or specter shows this will meet your fancy.

This show has to be one of the most creative and creepiest shows on cable T.V.   I do not have cable in my home so I watch this usually on Hulu or at my generous neighbor's pad.  I am really into horror movies and "strange" movies in general so it caught my eye when I saw the ad for it on the Internet.  (Ad shown above this paragraph)

If I've piqued your interest and you would like to know a little more about the story, here is a short introduction to the plot.  American Horror Story is about a husband, wife, and their daughter whom have been going through some tough times.  The wife caught her husband cheating on her with one of his students  (the husband is a Professor of psychology).  The wife also just had a miscarriage and her daughter is an outcast at her school.  The family decided to change their lives around by moving away from their problems on the east coast.  The family chose to move to the west coast, and they find a listing for a gorgeous Victorian home for a very affordable price.  Hmmmm?  Why is it so affordable?!  Perhaps because it is haunted and many people have died in the home.. hehe?  Anyhow, they move into this gorgeous home and as they are getting settled in, a woman dressed as a maid knocks on the door and proclaims to be the previous owners maid.  The woman appears to be a homely older  woman to the wife but yet a stereotypical french maid towards the husband.  Meanwhile the husband sets up an office in the home to see patients for counseling.  A young teen aged boy who resembles Kurt Cobain comes to be shrinked by the husband.  This boy appears to be extremely troubled and exudes Columbine tendencies.  Another eerie character in the show is called "Rubberman"  he wears an entire "gimp" suit and visits the wife in the middle of the night.  The wife seems to believe the "Rubberman" could be her husband.  I do not wish to go on so you guys are able to catch up or look into watching the show.  I would love to hear your thoughts!  Overall this show is entertaining and full of twists and turns!  Enjoy and .... DO NOT WATCH ALONE :)

Paris Au revoir Au fait

My Husband and I are quite excited!  We are invited to Europe this summer!  Plans are being made to visit my hubby's mom and her husband in August!  His mother currently lives in Germany and we plan to enjoy their company at their new home.

We are especially excited about taking a train to Paris to celebrate our first year together as Mr. and Mrs.  Christmas morning I was suprised with a beautiful clip art decopaged card that read "Certificate towards a trip to Paris!"  I was thrilled to see that my husband was so creative in his gift giving and craftful skills..but most especially that he is a romantic man who wanted to share an experience together in the city of love.

We plan on seeing the Eiffel Tower and hopefully to make a trip to see  the "Hall of Mirrors" at the Palace of Versailles.  Looking through pictures of it takes my breath away.  We also plan to learn some French common sayings before hand to "Fit in" lol!  Most importantly...haha.. I hope to go to some French Flea Markets to get a nice little shopping fix for my love of the old, shabulous and chic!

New Years Re "SOUL" utions

I have never, like most americans had actually carried out a "New Years Resolution" Mine usually consists of volunteering, Losing weight and reading.  Most of these I have done but perhaps only for a month after January 1st.

Do any of you have any different or inspiring resolutions?  I would love to hear about them.  Perhaps you can and WILL inspire me.

Infact.. this New Year I decided to try and create a blog for others to follow and for me to enjoy creating...I wanted to share this image when I saw it, this reminded me of my Mother's own New Years Resolution..to quit smoking...  the way I see this photo is our lungs..the branches and leaves represent our life.. therefore, "Our Lungs are our Life." I just hope that most of you who have the same resolution as my mother will carry it out for hopefully the rest of your lives.  Lung Cancer hit my grandfather's life hard and fast.  He had small cell lung cancer which spread more quicker than most.  He was diagnosed on a Monday and passed away that Thursday...life is short and death can come quick....Prolong your lives :)!
